In today’s feature, An Inquisition of Vampires, our host chose to play this 30 minute mystery at her sister’s hen night. Vampires, murders, and hens. Let’s see how things turned out?
The theme of the night was vampire’s books and TV shows, so An Inquisition of Vampires tied in really well.
The game was run at the start of the evening with 20 players that were split up into teams of 2 or 3.
“I had one of the guests collapse to start the game of, because none of the guests knew about the game ahead of schedule.”
“This was my first murder mystery party, but I ran it without knowing the murderer. This made it even more fun! My husband had split the parts into sealed envelopes so I could play along.”
Our host had a great time and enjoyed the game as a player and the host! Everyone got into character as well.
“All the guests had great costumes, mostly vampire’s but a couple of witches and a werewolf.”
Highlights included decorations that were black and red, and menus that were glued into the back of fake tombstones.
Many thanks to our wonderful host for choosing An Inquisition of Vampires and allowing Playing With Murder to play a role in their hen party.
