Today’s party is There Might Be No Christmas, featuring Librarian Hamm and a hard-working group of Kindergarten-to-5th-graders that consistently met their reading goals and earned their way into a fun event!
Our hostess, Librarian Hamm, decided that the students would be invited to participate in the end of semester Christmas party!
Librarian Hamm informed us that,
“The high school drama students led the action with fantastic costumes and much personality. Improv is a must, and these kids had it down. The large group was broken into detective teams of 8. They worked together to solve the mystery. We also danced to, and sang, Christmas songs in between each round.”
Thanks to Mrs. Claus, the students decorated over 200 Christmas cookies! Our hostess used a projector and screen to show decorative, Christmas-themed slides, as well as the evidence needed for the party. The high school drama students set the tone with their fun, zany costumes.
Thanks to There Might Be No Christmas, and Librarian Hamm, these wonderfully read students had an evening they will be talking about for quite some time.
