Today’s featured party is Murder in Manhattan, hosted by Scott. This was his fourth, and “one of the best”, murder mystery parties yet!
Scott used technology to his advantage to create some cool special effects with his lighting to mirror the story’s plot.
“We used the SmartThings home automation routines to slowly bring in the rolling blackouts…creating some suspense.”
Our host started his party at 8:30 pm and finished at 11:45 pm. They ended in time for a midnight toast for the new year and watching the ball drop.
Some of the menu, which was catered, included bacon wrapped scallops, deviled crab balls, lasagna ravioli, and spinach artichoke bread bowl dip. There was also a champagne bar with blackberry thyme, margarita, cotton candy, and raspberry sorbet champagne cocktails. When you have hosted four murder mysteries, having a superb menu and drinks becomes old hat.
Our host, and his murdered guest, have this to say,
”
I would recommend this party for the veteran party host.”
Thank you, Scott, for being such a gracious host and choosing Murder in Manhattan as your fourth…and hopefully best…mystery party.
