\nToday our featured party host is Judy, who wanted to celebrate her son’s 18th birthday in a special way. They chose Mardi Gras, Masks, Murder!<\/a> and had a party like no other.\n<\/p>\n

We are from New Orleans so it was easy to transport our guests back in time to pre-Katrina New Orleans. Our friends and family fell into their parts as soon as they put on their masks and the party became more like a play. The whole evening was more fun than folks had had in a while and people are still talking about it.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nJudy created a one-of-a-kind 18th birthday video for her son, Rene. This was a great way to commemorate a special murder mystery birthday.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The well-planned theme worked out so well with instructions every step of the way and there was no fumbling even though some things were modified to fit our situation. I hope for the opportunity to do it again.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nOur hostess and her family are from New Orleans and living in Alabama, so they decided to make the evening even more special by serving authentic New Orleans cuisine. They also included a King Cake imported straight from New Orleans!\n<\/p>\n

\nThe decorations included photos of New Orleans as well as Mardi Gras balloons, masks, and beads. Jazz music helped set the mood for this 18th birthday murder mystery.\n<\/p>\n
