Today we join our hostess during a creepy covid quarantine quandry. Perhaps you had a similar problem during the holidays and covid? No trick-or-treating meant having to find a suitable exception for the kids and families involved. The Haunted Halloween Heist was, obviously, the answer.
The dark denizens of the forest are no match for covid when a candy heist is underway. Don’t mess with the ghosts, ghouls, and other monsters of the manor when Halloween is concerned!
Due to COVID, we decided not to go trick or treating. Instead, we had a Halloween get together with our quarantine families. So. Much. Fun.
Our hostess decorated the house as the King’s creepy shack, the backyard was Shufflemoore Woods and everyone was in costume.
I used real items for the scavenger hunt props that I got from the Dollar Tree. The kids went crazy looking for everything, the adults were into full character mode and we all had a blast! Forget trick or treating- This may be a new tradition.
