Teens Play Gangsters at Birthday Party

Last updated: Apr 13, 2018 5:14:00 AM

Today we join our hostess, and her son, as they present Don Carrasino and the Murdered Mobster for his 16th birthday party.

Last year, our hostess introduced her son to An Inquisition of Vampires and all of his friends loved it! It was no surprise when her son asked if he could have another murder mystery party this year.

She says,

We had our 8 guests, ranging in age from 11 - 16. They were all boys, so some of them were really good sports and played the female roles.

The young man that played Lorenzo gave his best Italian accent, and all of the guests tried out some 1920's mobster lingo.

The hostess goes on to say,

After 3 rounds, only two people guessed the murderer. Everyone had a great time, and there were lots of snacks. We also had a small photo booth prop where everyone had their picture taken as a gangster.

Some of the items on the menu included a variety of chocolate, vanilla, and red velvet snack cakes and flaming hot chips. There were also kid friendly drinks, including Pepsi and Lemonade.

Our hostess had some interesting props as well. She says,

... for Don Carrasino and the Murdered Mobster we used an opened safe prop, bullet holes, guns, a bat, and 2 life-size shadow people (mobster and flapper girl). There was fake money, and poker cards and chips set out on the table.

We are happy to hear that everyone had a great time playing Don Carrasino and the Murdered Mobster and we hope you choose Playing With Murder for your next party as well!
