Host this vampire-themed game over video chat as a “virtual” party.
Your guests will be playing the role of the eight vampiric inhabitants of the city of Grayston, who have come under suspicion of the murder of Archibald Crane, the Elder of the city. Despite keeping order in the town, Archibald had a knack for inciting the contempt of its residents. Each one of your guests has reason to want to see the Elder dead…
The Grand Council has sent the terrifying Inquisitor Dominic to investigate the matter and mete out punishment. He gathers your guests and instructs them to share what they know. With his help, the group must work together to uncover the killer!
There are 8 primary characters in this game. Read the "How to Play" section for instructions on how to play this game with more than 8 people.

Headline Vampire Dinner Party was A+ ????
Nickname Erin
Menu Highlights Jell-O shots in syringes
Theme Highlights Lots of tapered candles, gothic tablecloth
We had the most wonderful time- each year we host a themed Christmas party (think Halloween costumes in December..) and this year’s theme was Vampires! At a party of 25 people, we had 10 people choose to participate in “An Inquisition of Vampires” and we had a blast!! It was the perfect length of game to hold the interest of a group of adults, lasting 30-40 minutes.

Headline Corporate Fun!

This was a lot of fun as a remote office event. We went with gothic zoom backgrounds for each character and some even dressed up.
An inquisition or vampires –
Headline Soirée amusante 2.0 (funny sigh)
Nickname An inquisition or vampires
Translation: We made our own film, based on the script guidelines (I took some footage online, edited it on IMovie, and shot a few scenes. Everything was homogenized with a silent film filter). Little more, we were delivered cut fingers (recipe witches fingers on the net) in wooden wine boxes, where we had indicated R.I.P. Archibald Crane. Guests couldn't open it until the evening!
Translation:
Every year, we prepare a murder mystery evening for the family (about 15 people). Despite the Covid, we have decided to keep the event going, but to do it online. The vampire story was well put together and fun, the storyline held up and the culprit could be found with the clues. Everyone really liked the event. Thanks to Playing with Murder for helping us make it happen. Suggestion: if you could have made the film in the script yourself, it would have been a big plus! 🙂

We did a trial run for a virtual team building event we are hosting in December. It was fun but very simple.

Headline Amazing fun!
Nickname Laura S
I organized this virtual murder mystery party for Halloween for my group of friends.
It was disappointing to not be able to see my friends in person due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but it turned out to be one of the best Halloweens I’ve ever had!
We had such fun playing the different characters. There was dressing up, different accents and off script improv.
Throwing around blame and murder accusations kept us laughing all night.
Definitely going to try another murder mystery!

Headline Fun, lighthearted way to have fun with friends
Nickname Jen D
Such a fun way to get together with co-workers while we are all telecommuting! Easy to follow, and lasted the right amount of time! I liked that I could facilitate without knowing “who did it” – loved being able to play along.
