We’re all excited about the new movie Game Night here at Playing With Murder. The film, starring Jason Bateman and Rachel McAdams, opened Feb 23rd and centers around a group of friends that get together for a murder mystery party, which appears to get a bit out of hand.
One of the most common pieces of feedback we hear from our hosts is that they’d like to play our games with a large group (i.e. 30 or more people). Until recently, most of our games could only accommodate groups smaller than that size.
That’s all changing!
We’ve heard these requests and are happy to announce that we have expanded all of our games to handle over 100 guests!
Once you have chosen the game kit for your murder mystery party, it’s time to make plans! You’ll need to read your game script, invite guests, decorate your venue and plan your menu. This post will take you step-by-step through the process.
The murder mystery game you choose will set the tone for the night. There are 5 important decisions to make before choosing your game:
- Venue
- Guest count
- Era and Theme: What scene will you create? (ie Roaring 20’s, Mardi Gras, etc)
- Game Type: Interactive or scripted game?
- Game Format: Downloadable or boxed game kit?
I’ll walk you through each choice and let you know how your decision will affect your party.
